A laptop video card?

Can you upgrade laptop video cards? Is it worth it? What kind of cards are there and where can i find them?|||Good luck.

1. GPU chips for laptops are RARE and you'll never find them being sold seperatly in retail shops.

2. Laptops are made different from PC's the GPU for the laptop is connected right on the motherboard of the laptop. So basically its like its integrated but its not, so taking it out isn't really the easiest or brightest idea.

3. Expensive, if you manage to find a GPU, replacing one in the laptop is tedious and requires a knowledgable tech.|||you cant upgrade a laptop graphics card. the motherboard has intergraded graphics.

so if your wanted to upgrade you can take it to a pc store and get a different mobo for that processor and with different graphics card.|||Bargain your laptop with a newer model or with Graphic Processor you want.

No one do GPU replacement or RnD on laptop mother boards.|||Very, very few laptops have upgradeable graphics. The few exceptions either come in various different graphics configurations or use NVIDIA MXM chips, which are specifically designed to be interchangeable. In either case, getting your hands on a graphics card that will be compatible with your laptop is extremely difficult and expensive. You probably have neither option open to you to begin with, anyway.
