Ok I recently upgraded a friends laptop that did not have wireless to wirless by using a mini PCI-X slot that was built into the laptop. I was wondering if it would be possible to do this with a video card?
I currently have an integrated ati M200 video card, but I would like to instead have a geforce card in my laptop. Is it possible to buy a geforce card that is for the mini pci-x slot and then disable the onboard video card?|||No, because video cards do not use the same slots. Unlike desktops, notebook video cards are not usually modular or interchangeable.
